| Simple Tips To Maximize Your Pay Per Click Advertising Using pay per click advertising to sell affiliate products is one of the hottest and most effective ways to seriously maximize your potential affiliate profits and help you make easy money online. It is a known fact that pay per click advertising could be very costly if not handled right, even though it could be extremely profitable. Below are some very simple, but often neglected tips you must add to your pay per click management efforts to help you reduce your cost per click, as well as increase conversion rate. 1. Find affiliate products that generate $30 dollars or more in commission. Some people suggest $20, but I think that any amount within the thirty dollar range works better. Remember that in pay per click, you pay for every click by your visitors and this can add up very quickly. Hence, you need to choose only those products for which you can pay less and gain more. 2. You must ensure that the vendor's [or merchant's] website is professional looking with very high quality graphics. If surfers see a website as unprofessional, the tendency is for them not to trust the site, leading to them simply clicking away from that site. But if the site appears to be professional, any potential buyer will be confident enough to want to buy from it. 3. The vendor's sales letter must be outstanding and convincing enough to make people buy. No matter how classy a website may look, if the sales letter is bad, then it is unlikely that anyone will buy from it. You need to go through the sales letter yourself and check to see if it has enough pull to make YOU want to buy the product. The whole idea here is: if you are convinced enough to want to buy from the website, then chances are that people you refer to it will also be convinced to buy. 4. Do not promote a product whose vendor has more than one product or service on the referral page. Several sales messages kill off sales as against one product upon which all sales efforts are focused. 5. When appraising a potential affiliate program ask yourself if the product or service is something you would really want to buy. Ask if it will actually solve a need for you. Place yourself in the buyers' seat. If you don't feel comfortable enough as to buy the product, then why should they? 6. It's preferable if the vendor's site does not obviously advertise for the recruitment of more affiliates. An affiliate link is fine as long as it is low key. 7. The best affiliate programs will attempt to secure the email address of your referrals. Some prospects need to see a sales message at least seven times before they will buy. Make sure you still get credit for sales made during the follow up. 8. There should be testimonials on the vendor's web site. These will make prospective buyers to see that some other people have benefited from the same product, which can create confidence and trust. This in turn can help turn your prospect to a cash buyer. 9. Track your keywords and delete any that do not get clicked on after two hundred impressions. This means that: 1. You must constantly monitor your expense against earnings for each set of keywords. 2. You must always check to see the keywords that are not working. The rule of thumb here is that any keyword that has not received any clicks after 200 impressions should be deleted. 3. Higher your click through rate, the higher position you receive in relation to your competitors. |
